I have questions!

Can I drop my child off or does a parent need to be present?

Yes! For our kids gardening series (ages 5-8), please drop your child off and go run an errand, take a walk, and we won’t judge you if you just take a little nap in the car! You deserve a break.

What COVID-related safety precautions are you taking?

Children’s classes are all held outdoors and are small groups, with no more than 8 children per class. If you or your child has any symptoms, or has been recently exposed, we ask that you not attend that day.

Our public events are for small groups (generally 10 to 12 people, but may be less depending on the type of workshop) and follow the same guidelines as above.

For the public events and workshops, can I bring my child?

Unless it is indicated on the registration that it is an adult and child workshop, these events are a time for you to take a much-needed break, therefore please coordinate alternate care for your children during this time.

What is your cancellation policy?

Workshops:

-Because our vendor partners purchase enough supplies to meet the demands of the number of participants registered, we are not able to provide refunds for cancellations. Registration is transferable to a friend, however.

-Most of our vendor partners require a minimum participation in order to hold the class. Therefore, if the registration does not meet this minimum, we will need to cancel the event. All those who did register will receive an email a week prior to the event and the registration fee can either be fully refunded, or transferred to a future workshop.

Kids Gardening Series:

-Because spots are limited, no credit is given for partial attendance. No portion of the registration will be refunded if your child is absent or you miss one of the sessions.

-If you need to cancel your child's registration, you may do so 14 days prior to the session’s start date and we will credit the amount paid toward a future session. If the cancellation happens within 14 days or less, no credit will be offered.

Weather:

-Because all of our events, including kids gardening classes, are held outdoors, we have to be mindful of the weather. For some events, we have ways to accommodate mild rain, but in the case of a storm, we may need to cancel class.

-We will keep a close eye on weather, and send updates prior to the event. If we do have to cancel a class or workshop due to weather, we will make all efforts to reschedule the event. If we are unable to reschedule, we will provide a refund of the amount paid.
