After-School Gardening Adventures at Redwood Day School

Hello, Redwood Day Families! We’re so excited to offer your kiddos a super fun, after-school enrichment option that not only gets them digging in the dirt, but also teaches them how to contribute to a more sustainable world. We can’t wait to meet your kiddos and grow together!

✅ WHO CAN ATTEND: students going into 1st-3rd grades

✅ SESSION DATES: Wednesdays 9/10-11/19

✅ CLASS LOCATION: In Redwood Day School’s garden space!

✅ HOW TO REGISTER: Sign up through Redwood Day’s sign-up page

DURING THIS SESSION, STUDENTS WILL:

🥕 Plant and care for their seasonal crops

🌿 Learn about plants and nature through creative art projects they can take home

🍐 Cook their own seasonal snack to enjoy in class

🌎 Learn about eco-friendly gardening practices and sustainable living

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Create group projects to contribute to the school community
